NewsLawsuit claims circumcision botchedThursday 24th March 2005WTNH has reported that A lawsuit has been filed against a doctor at Saint Vincent's Hospital Bridgeport, Connecticut, claiming he botched a circumcision and partially amputated a nine-month-old boy's penis. According to the report, the claim seeks unspecified damages from Dr Daniel Gottschall, who performed the circumcision last June. The lawsuit against names his medical and surgical group, Alliance for Women's Health. The suit alleges the boy's injuries were caused by Gottschall's failure to exercise the proper care and skill employed by physicians specialising in the procedure. |
