Affiliate Disclosure
In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released rules for Disclosure Compliance. These rules are set in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web media know whether the presenter is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered by or with a third party company. An Affiliate Link (“Affiliate Link”) is any Third Party Link for which the Company receives compensation based on clicks and/or user activity on the third party’s website. The Company uses Affiliate Links on the Site.
NORMUK earns money through advertisements and several different affiliate marketing programs. That means we may get paid commissions on (but not limited to): you registering for services such as products purchased through our links to outside sites.
In compliance with FTC Disclosure Guidelines, you may assume that all Third Party Links on the Site are Affiliate Links. When you click an Affiliate Link, your web browser automatically shares certain information. This includes, for example, the web address of the page that you are visiting and your IP address. We may also set cookies (see privacy policy and terms of service for more information) on your browser or read cookies that are already there.
In our opinion, we think that’s a pretty fair system that keeps us committed to serving our readers first. And of course, the decisions we make regarding the products we feature on our site are always driven by editorial and product testing standards, not by affiliate deals or advertising relationships.
Our reviews take a significant amount of research and years of experience to conduct. In addition to relying on our own expertise, we read research papers & discuss with other experts in the industry. We pore over customer reviews to find out what matters to real people who already use the technology we’re reviewing.
We truly value our readers and always strive to provide them with honest information so they can purchase the best product that suits their individual needs.
